Although various topics are welcome, we do have to set some rules in order to control our content here. This may seem a long list of what is and what is NOT permissible , but we felt it appropriate to advise you of what is expected from / of you as a member on our public forum.



General


A). Posting:

1). Any type of spamming of the forum will lead to actions ranging from a warning to a permanent ban!

2). Posts must be written in English please . (If you are having problems with English please use a translator) .
This is requested as we currently have no members who can provide reliable translation services.

3). Do Not Start a fight/argument or continue it. This includes posts that are intended to hurt someone, flaming, etc. If you see a argument in process, do not continue it, rather notify a staff immediately.

4). Do Not Post anything pornographic, violent, or racist! If you say racist words you will be banned immediately. We strictly enforce our multicultural environment so everyone is treated equally.

5). Do Not spam to increase post count. This includes "useless" posts. Such posts will be removed by staff. The point of this board is to help others with useful info, not to "look good" with lots of post counts. By spamming you will only be wasting your time and ours, as well as losing respect in the internet community

6). Advertising - Messages that advertise a service or product are not allowed. This includes, but is not limited to: unsolicited commercial or personal web site advertisements; :For-Sale/For-Trade/For-Auction/Wanted: notices; "Make Money Fast" scams, chain letters, and pyramid schemes; or any referrer-ID based sites. If you want to post a link, but are unsure of whether it follows the guidelines or not, please message a staff member.

7). NO copyrighted material may be posted on this forum in any shape or form and is prohibited, unless you have explicit permission & you give credit where due.


8 ). The staff have the right to remove any content for any reason they deem necessary to do so.


9) As your username will be seen by the public, please select an appropriate one which is NOT an Email address (some forums do allow users to select an email address as their username; however, to help prevent you from being spammed ,we do NOT permit any email address to appear on this forum in public areas).

Furthermore; Do NOT post any email address on the forum. For your privacy and to help prevent any unsolicited spamming, the Admin will remove from the public forum any and all e-mail address inadvertantly posted .

10). Pictures may be posted as long as they do not contain anything copyright, offensive, and/or explicit.

(Admin reserve the right to remove any pictures/images they deem as unsuitable for a public forum)



B) Staff/Member


11). Respect staff/members just like you want respect from them.

12). If you have a problem with a member/user, please contact one of the staff.

13). The Admin are here to keep the Board running smoothly and to keep post contents within forum rules guidelines .If you find you do have an issue with a decision please send a PM to the relevant Admin who will give it appropriate consideration and advise you accordingly .

(If you have a problem with a Moderator , please contact one of the Admin. However all Moderators are carefully hand picked so there really shouldn't be any problems. Only high quality, trusted Moderators are selected for their position .)

Also,there will be no engaging or other activities that are "wrong"! If you 're not sure whether it's "wrong" or not please message one of the staff for vertification.

14). NEVER disrespect Admin who are here to help keep the Board and all topics in good order . If you do you can expect to be permanently banned .



C). User Profile.

15). Please do not post "big", obstructive images inside your signature. If you do so you will be asked to remove it. Failure to compily may result in a loss in the ability to post images in your signature.

16). Avatars must be in good taste. This means no vulgar or violent images, pornography, or profanity. Inappropriate avatars will be removed by staff, as well as a possible ban.

17) Unless you have permission from Admin you may NOT Advertise in any shape or form ; this includes links in your signature , your Profile , Avatar etc to sites asking for donations. If you have a personal website or off-site help resource, please seek permission from Admin to include it BUT you can not sell products or services through your signature. Multiple links to the same site, unless for a very specific reason, are not permitted in a signature.


18 ). Please do not sign up for more than one account. There is really no need to do that.

19 ). If you are having problems registering for the site, guests can post in the "Registration Help" category, which is located under the "Welcome & Intro --> Why join the forum?" section for help. Please do not post any unrelated content in that section.



D) Guidance relative to but not limited to within the Computer Help Section


20 ) We will NOT permit any discussion whose purpose is to ultimately defeat existing copyright or security measures.
If a user persists and/or the activity is obviously illegal the Staff reserves the right to remove such content and/or ban the user. Encouraging the use or continued use of pirated software is not permitted, and subject to the same consequences.

21) Do not ask for, offer to supply, or post links to, copies of commercial software, MP3s, movies, CD Keys, Product Keys, Serial Numbers, etc. or other intellectual property for which you do not hold the copyright.

22) Any discussions on obtaining any kind of illegal software, MP3's, movies, etc., are not allowed and will be removed.


23) As many infections are spread by the use of P2P programs , we felt it appropriate to forewarn you of the risks associated with such programs .
(You will see in the Computer Help Section various links to information regarding the risks associated with P2P programs . If you read the information contained within the links, the reasons why you should NOT use a P2P program should be self-explanatory. )

Whilst we will never knowingly allow misleading or inaccurate information to be posted on this forum , there may be some false information now and then leading to undesired results. Any material downloaded or otherwise obtained through this website is done at your own discretion, and that you take all risks and are solely responsible for any damage that may occur to your computer system or loss of data. No information on this website carries any kind of warranty or guarantee.

Please note: not all programs are compatible with all operating systems and versions ;therefore as the computer user, you decide which programs you will or will not run and this forum , the Staff and Admin will NOT be held responsible for any unspecified/undesired results, either directly or indirectly.

You read & follow the information from the articles and guides at your own risk.




If you see anyone breaking the rules, or any violations in occurrence, please notify an Admin immediately!



If you break the rules and do not heed the advise/guidance given to you by Admin to help you improve your use of this Board's facilities ........

-You May be Suspended anywhere from a week to permanent.
-Your IP and User Name May Be Banned




The above may sound strict, however it's just some guidelines to try to keep everything in order. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to PM one of the Admins who will be more than happy to help. Also, please note that these rules are subject to change without notice, so it is advisable that you check the forum rules from time to time.
